Enviro Info and Music News.

Hello,

After a long weekend of good times with good friends playing music lots, I take some time to reflect here and ground myself in the direction of life sustenance. I share all these details in my life because I am learning the most from my closest family and friends that surround me, and I feel like the more personal lessons we can acquire, the faster the evolution can take place to where this is all going. Here goes...

I am very close to acquiring the anticipated electric bike for touring and city work/fun events. More on that soon. As for the life improvement plan with the help yourself method and not relying on too many 3rd parties, etc. - I learned to sow a bit better. My next project is to fix my guitar case, pants, and possibly make a pair of pants for my new capoeta classes that I hope to keep up with. Dance and Karate together; kicking my ass so far but loving it. I also have learned to cook many dishes. I'm working in the garden as much as I can for a post yoga workout, as well as finding ways to harvest naturally growing edibles.

It is so easy to get consumed by all these mini-tasks and get lost in them all, finding no time for yourself and Music. So, with that said, I am making sure that I check every day how I am doing; my spirit and soul; having a little convo to make sure I'm doing the things I truly want to.

My tasks:

+practice music - SYP, Renee Wilson, and JA band project (Djiven - band name?)
Practice pedals and new ideas of sound quality improvement
+promote upcoming shows (March 13th Beale, March 19th Pier 23, March 27 Cafe Coda)
+book shows and bike music plans (Spain - September, Gold Country Bike Tour May)
+Sow pants and guitar cases
+Capoeta, Garden, and start learning pieces of music to teach at the all boys music school in SF later in March.

There is an event coming up March 20th that deals with water reclamation. Please come if you can and/or pass the word around to others. Out of all the events to come to, I feel the most strong about ones that have messages such as this one. The simple concept of grey water re-use and other water conservation techniques can transform the world into what it used to be; an abundantly rich resource for true spirit growth.

Thanks for coming down to the Bay Area Tree, Ivan, and Issac. I had a great time playing music with you all at the Elbo Room and Beale Street bar.

Elbo Room Show and Enviro Action!

Hey All!

Looking forward to seeing some familiar and new faces at the Elbo Room tomorrow night (Friday Night February 26th). I go on at 10 pm so get their early. I have Issac, Tree, Garcia and Ivan Rockin' with me! it will be epic.

I also have some great news about some actions I have been meaning to take for a lifetime now. I am going to find green transportation by getting a bike from rockthebike and putting a hub motor on it. As well, I am doing a couple fundraisers for awareness on Monsantos seed bullshit as well as grey water catchment (April 17th and March 20th). These will be shows that will have lots of material on how to live a conscious life and make your dollar support less of the dysfunctional, war mongering, social dis-empowering, main stream rich society --- and get on the page of the social conscious, ever changing, seed planting, poor but rich at heart, hungry for passion and life - that I believe we have in all of us! If that didn't make sense to you, that is okay. To paraphrase and sum up, I am saying "wake the fuck up people, there is beauty around us to enjoy with out corruption."

If you want to help in the research and development of Justin Ancheta rockthebike.com electric Mundo action, please send funds to

Justin Ancheta
120 Conrad Street,

Or paypal: justin@sinclairband.com

Proceeds will go towards the thousands of dollars of research and development necessary to make the next evolution model electric bike that I hope will propel me across vast continents with ease, to spread a message of simplicity and sustainability and FUN healthy lifestyles. With lots of music of course.

In love,
Justin

February 2010 News

Things seem to happen very fast these days. Example: I asked to learn breathing techniques, the next day I found myself in a breathing technique class without even knowing that it was that. I am going to put this out into the world, my intention, so that the possibilities can latch onto the intent and I can move forward to where I would like to go. Currently I'm where I want to be, so I am must show my gratitude for that first. The movement forward is the passion and striving that makes life desirable.

I would like to create good music with good people and find good places to play that practice good ways in living. Good is vague so I will elaborate. Music I like. People that are kind and peaceful. Places that incorporate the most economical and environmental practices where social boundaries and division is wiped away, even after the experience.

More on this soon. This is to just start the topic for myself and anyone else that would like to interject, or help create.
